Attire

Ballet

Hair must be pulled back away from the face at all times, buns preferred for all ballet classes.  No Jazz attire is allowed in ballet classes. Dance uniforms are available through the school at registration.

Pre-Ballet, Ballet I & Up

Girls should wear a solid color leotard, according to their level, as described in the following table, full-length pink tights, and pink ballet slippers.  Short ballet skirts are optional.  Pre-Pointe and Pointe students also require pink pointe shoes.

  • Pre-Ballet: Pink leotard
  • Ballet I: Lilac leotard
  • Ballet II: Fuscha leotard
  • Ballet III: Light Blue leotard
  • Ballet IV: Dark Blue leotard

Boys should wear a white t-shirt or leotard, black shorts or tights, and black ballet slippers.

Creative Movement

Girls should wear a leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet slippers. Short ballet skirts are optional.

Boys should wear a t-shirt or leotard, black athletic shorts or pants, and black ballet slippers.

Jazz & Lyrical

Hair must be pulled back away from the face at all times, ponytails or buns are acceptable for jazz classes.

Girls should wear a leotard and tan tights or form-fitting t-shirt and athletic shorts or jazz pants, and tan jazz shoes.

Boys should wear a t-shirt or leotard, athletic shorts or pants or jazz pants, and jazz shoes.

Tap

Hair must be pulled back away from the face at all times, ponytails or buns are acceptable for tap classes.

Girls should wear ballet or jazz attire with either pink or tan tights, and tap shoes.  Preschool tap students need only regular or single-plated taps for heel and toe. High heeled tap shoes by permission of instructor only.

Boys should wear t-shirt or leotard, athletic shorts or pants (or jazz pants) and black tap shoes.

Please label everything!

All dance equipment is identical for students and should be examined before leaving the studio.
